Heat pumps in Gangelt
Jansen GmbH Gebäudetechnik has its office on Geilenkirchener Straße, here in the town. We plan the system, install it and commission it, from the electrical connection to the heating manifold.

What changes inside the house
A heat pump burns nothing. It takes heat from the air or from the ground and lifts it to the level your heating system needs. The chimney is freed up, and the plant room takes on more of the work instead.
That is why we look at the house first and not at a catalogue. How the heat is distributed, which surfaces give it off, where the equipment will stand, what the electrical situation is. Only then do we propose a system that suits what you already have.
- Look at what is there
- Plan the plant room
- Check the distribution
- Think about the wiring
Layer by layer
The system from the bottom up
Five levels lie between the heat source and the room that gets warm. Each has its own job, and each one can make a system good or poor.
-
The heat comes either from the outside air or from the ground. What is possible on your plot depends on the space, the subsoil and what the authorities allow. We settle that before the planning and not after it.
-
With an air source heat pump one part stands outdoors and the rest inside the house. We agree the position, the pipe route and the condensate run with you before the first core hole is drilled.
-
A cylinder separates the heat pump from the heating circuits and gives the system water volume. Size and connection follow the system and the room available, not what happens to be on the shelf.
-
From the cylinder the heat travels through the manifold into the heating circuits. This is where it is decided whether the heat arrives where it is needed. We insulate the pipework and balance the circuits.
-
At the end stands the surface that gives the heat to the room: underfloor heating, wall heating or radiators. Whether what is there can stay or a single room needs a larger surface is decided by the survey on site.

We will look at your plant room and tell you what is possible there.

What we take on
From the first survey to the maintenance, the system stays in one pair of hands. That saves the coordination between a heating firm and an electrical firm and keeps the responsibility in one place.
-
Survey and planning
We come to the house, measure up, look at the distribution, the surfaces and the plant room, and size the system according to what we find.
-
Installing the heat pump
Positioning, connection, refrigeration work and hydraulics. We set the system so that maintenance later remains possible without rebuilding.
-
Cylinder and hot water
Buffer cylinder, hot water preparation, pumps, valves and a clean connection to what is already in the house.
-

Checking the opened unit -
Manifold and underfloor heating
Fitting the heating manifold, connecting the circuits, insulating the pipework and balancing the system hydraulically.
-
Electrical connection
Jansen is a building services firm, so the electrical connection stays in the house as well. Managing director Lennard Jansen is an Elektrotechnikermeister, a master electrician, obtained in Germany.
-
Commissioning and maintenance
Setting the system up, showing you the controls, handing over the documents and maintaining the system in service.

The more we know about the house, the more precise our answer can be. Year of construction, current heating, heated floor area, everything helps.

The firm
Jansen is based in Gangelt
The address in the legal notice is here in the town: Geilenkirchener Straße 65 a.
Building services here means that heating and electrical work belong together. For a heat pump that is not a footnote, because the connection, the protection and the controls are part of the system.

Questions
Questions that come before the planning
- Will a heat pump suit my house?
- That is not decided by the type of house alone, but by how the heat is distributed and by the surfaces that give it off. We look at both on site and tell you afterwards what makes sense.
- Do I have to replace my radiators?
- Whether what is there can stay or a single room needs a larger surface is shown by the survey on site, not by a blanket answer.
- Where will the equipment stand afterwards?
- The indoor unit, the buffer cylinder and the manifold need a fixed place. We plan the plant room with you before anything is drilled and keep access clear for later maintenance.
- Who does the electrical connection?
- We do. Jansen GmbH Gebäudetechnik covers heating and electrical work, and managing director Lennard Jansen is an Elektrotechnikermeister, a master electrician, obtained in Germany.
- How long does the installation take?
- That depends on the scope: replacing a unit in an existing plant room is a different job from new distribution throughout the house. We give a reliable time frame with the quotation, not before it.
- What about funding programmes?
- We will tell you which documents we can supply for an application. The figures and conditions of those programmes change, so we do not quote any here.
- Do you look after the system afterwards?
- Yes. Commissioning is followed by an introduction to the controls and the handover of the documents, and we remain your contact while the system is in service.
Your question is not here? Write it to us and we will answer.
